May 2007: DC Funding Partners announces the closing of Denali Capital CLO VII, Ltd., an $800 million fund. Bear Stearns advised DC Funding and Denali on the structure of the fund and acted as placement agent for the securities issued to capitalize the fund.
April 2007: DC Funding Partners announces the Optional Redemption of Denali Capital CLO I, Ltd., whereby the debt securities were paid in full and a substantial distribution was made to the Preferred Shareholders. Assets from CLO I were purchased by the recently-formed Denali Capital CLO VII, Ltd.
September 2006: DC Funding Partners announces the closing of the seven year committed debt financing for the Denali Capital Credit Opportunity Fund. The debt securities, rated from AAA/Aaa through A/A2, totaled $400 million. Deutsche Bank Securities, Inc. advised DC Funding on the structure and acted as placement agent for the securities.

March 2001: Denali Capital LLC and the Fort Worth Texas based Edward Bass organization establish DC Funding Partners LLC, a jointly-owned investment and asset management partnership with the intent to sponsor a series of Collateralized Loan Obligation ("CLO") funds. Denali Capital LLC is appointed as DC Funding Partners' managing member and charged with the responsibility to initiate all new fund management initiatives and related portfolio management activities on behalf of the partnership.
March 2001: David Killion, David Dekker, Gregory Cooper, Robert Coseo and John Thacker jointly found Denali Capital LLC, a new specialized asset management company that will manage portfolios of leveraged commercial loans. The five partners were the former senior management of First Source Financial, Inc., a commercial finance company located in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.
